Hockenheim practiseday

Even if the numbers aren't there where we want them yet, I'd rather race with six of you folks than with 20 idiots any day of the week.

I think Andy's engine blowing up at the start of the formation lap must have set a record for short-livedness of the BMW powerhouse ;-)

I'm certain everybody's going to drive circles around me, I just don't know where to find the time... still should be a fun race!

cheers, Uwe

I have been informed by the head of motorsport at BMW, that the guy who built my engine is now sweeping the streets of Munich!!!! :tadel: I also informed BMW that if these reliability issues continue, I will be switching to Audi engines..... :lachtot:

Hockenheim practiseday

Hi Leute,

@Andrew: why have you been so slow last lap of first trainings-race? Did you have any problems or did you wanna play games with me? I was totally irritated about that because i did not know whether to overtake or not and lost the car. Second race was worse. I went from Motorprogram 6 to 7 and with too much throttle had a spin in Motodrom and destroyed my rearwing - my fault. Grats for your two victories. :first: Its your task to win the Hockenheim-race! Good luck for that :y:

Yes Bert I was playing games with you..... You don't have to be the fastest car to win the race! I didn't block or swerve, or even brake test you. I just eased off. How you react to that is up to you? Another tactic I do & Mike D knows this...... If a faster driver is all over me, I will slow my pace & back him into the guys behind. It's called racecraft. It's up to the Guy behind to pass......

You do seem to drive on the limit all the time Bert, as we seen in the past sometimes you fall off the track :gpl:

It would be nice to win, but I like a good fight & the boost button is all to tempting....

See you on the Track Bert, you Girl! :respekt:

Hi big boy,

thanks for your racecraft lesson. New word for me and new things to learn. You seem to be a "tactics-fox"

Btw driving near the limit is what i allways try, roling around is no fun, but safer - lol. Depends on the distance of the race.

Greetings Bert
